Let me make this clear: I am disorganised. I lose things, forget things and live in a general aura of chaos. I am not tidy, nor do I care for tidy people (I don't trust them, plainly they have too much time on their hands). The only thing on this earth for which I have a strange penchant for organising, is my make-up collection. One thing this does achieve is finding ingenious ways of storing items: I'm a tad obsessed with all my make-up having its proper place. This is what I've just discovered: store your lashes and a pot of lash glue in a lipstick case- perfect if you're staying out for a night! I'm a bugger for whipping off my lashes halfway through the night because they're driving my crazy, and inevitably losing one, so I end up with a sad and lonely eyelash alone in my bag, or I try to glue the ever-peeling corner and can't find my lash glue. Problem solved! I tend to cut the plastic part down a touch so it will fit into the case comfortably, and that way I can glue them back onto it if they start to irritate me! What do you guys think? What clever storage solutions do you have? | I'm not rich. In fact, I'm what a British person would call skint, and an American would call broke. I'm not delicately reordering my Dior day creams, or carefully collecting Clinique concealers. I'm a high street (Drugstore) girl through and through, but I love regimenting my bargain basement bronzers and lining up my low-price lipsticks! |

These are a few of my favourite things. I love books. I love escaping from the stress of the world by exploring the world of literature and fiction; reading is a passion of mine, requiring only a library card and a desire to spend some time in a faraway land. I love being able to hide away and have some quiet time to myself, emerging an hour later refreshed and filled with the strength and power of the characters living between the pages of the book. Absurdly, this pile of books seems to have a colour scheme: a fact which baffles and pleases me in equal measure.
